My Vision for Ed Leadership (Standard I)
I believe that my role as an administrator is to provide a safe, collaborative and challenging learning environment where students are provided the opportunity to develop life-long skills that make them competitive in a global economy. Educators must provide a vision and collaborate with others to make sure that the goals of that vision are implemented, analyzed and modified to meet the changing needs of a student body.
My experiences with creating a vision:
I have served on a Milford High School's Professional Learning Community during the past two years, helping to create our newest mission statement.
I am taking part in our school’s Strategic Planning, focusing on goals for school improvement for the 2011-2012 school year. This process will result in the school's goals for NCA accrediation process next year.
